Obverse description The central glass insert depicts a Polish glassblower facing left, blowing molten glass through a long pipe, rendered in a painterly style beneath the convex glass dome. The surrounding silver ring features a richly detailed high-relief composition evoking colonial Virginia: to the left, a group of settlers engaged in crafts and writing; to the right, a standing colonist interacting with a Native American figure; in the upper field, a panoramic scene of the early Jamestown settlement and the Polish coat of arms. The legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA curves along the left and lower rim, with the denomination 10 ZŁ at lower right and VIRGINIA arching across the top. The date 2008 appears in the lower field alongside a compass rose motif and the Polish eagle mint mark.
