| Описание реверса | The reverse is bisected vertically into two contrasting halves. The left half, set against a dark mirror field, depicts a detailed industrial scene featuring oil derricks, a nodding-donkey pump jack, refinery towers and pipework, with a kerosene lamp bearing an open flame at centre. The right half shows a portrait in relief of Ignacy Łukasiewicz, the Polish pharmacist credited with pioneering the modern petroleum industry, rendered in three-quarter facing right against a striated background. The commemorative legend '150-LECIE NARODZIN PRZEMYSŁU NAFTOWEGO I GAZOWNICZEGO' curves along the upper rim, and the commemorative date '31·VII·1853' appears in the lower exergue. |
