| Reverse description | The large numerals 1917 dominate the field in bold, dynamic relief, commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the October Revolution. A five-pointed star is incorporated within the numeral composition, positioned between the digits. Below, the inscription PIĘĆDZIESIĄTA ROCZNICA REWOLUCJI PAŹDZIERNIKOWEJ is arranged in three lines across the lower portion of the field. The word PRÓBA (meaning 'trial' or 'pattern') appears to the right in the field, identifying this as a pattern strike.
