Obverse description The crowned White Eagle, national coat of arms of the Polish People's Republic, displayed with wings spread and head turned to the right, occupies the central field. The date is divided across the lower field flanking the eagle, with the mint mark (MW) below. The denomination 10 ZŁ appears in large numerals at the bottom of the coin. The circular legend POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA runs along the upper periphery, with the value repeated as ZŁ·10 ZŁ· along the lower border.
