Obverse description The Polish national coat of arms, the White Eagle (Orzeł Biały), rendered without a crown in the People's Republic style, occupies the central field. The eagle faces dexter with wings displayed, talons extended, and detailed feather work across the body and wings. The date of issue is divided on either side of the eagle's body, with the last two digits flanking the lower torso. The denomination '10 ZŁ' appears in large relief numerals at the base of the coin, flanked by bullet separators. The circular legend 'POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA' runs along the upper periphery, also in Latin script.
