Aanvullende informatie

Poland's 1964 commemorative program marked the 600th anniversary of the Jagiellonian University in Kraków, founded by Kazimierz III in 1364 — one of the oldest universities in Central Europe. This trial strike, with its legends incuse rather than raised, represents a documented die test from that production run, catalogued separately by Fischer and Parchimowicz precisely because the incuse variant was never approved for circulation release.

NBP trial pieces from this decade are genuinely scarce; most were retained internally or destroyed after evaluation.
