Obverse description The Polish state eagle displayed in the center of the field, rendered in high relief with spread wings, a crown above its head, and a shield bearing a cross on its breast. The legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery in Latin script. The date 2001 is inscribed in two segments flanking the lower portion of the eagle, with the mint mark MW positioned nearby. The denomination ZŁ 10 ZŁ appears in large numerals and characters in the lower field, flanked by decorative dot borders running around the inner rim.
