背面描述 The reverse presents a right-facing portrait bust of Feliks Selmanowicz, known by his nom de guerre 'Zagończyk', rendered in relief in a realistic, medal-portrait style. To the left of the portrait, a small crowned Polish eagle emblem is depicted. A diagonal band in the colors of the Polish flag — white and red — crosses the lower right portion of the field, bearing the Armia Krajowa 'Kotwica' anchor symbol in red. The inscription 'FELIKS SELMANOWICZ "ZAGOŃCZYK" 1904–1946' arcs along the upper rim, while the phrase 'Zachowali się jak trzeba' ('They behaved as they should') is inscribed in cursive lettering across the lower field, serving as the series motto honoring the cursed soldiers.

附加信息

Feliks Selmanowicz served as a soldier in the Armia Krajowa's Wileńska Brigade under the command of Zygmunt Szendzielarz, continuing armed resistance against the communist regime long after Germany's defeat in 1945. Captured in 1950, he was tried by a military tribunal and executed in 1951 — one of the so-called "Cursed Soldiers," the Polish partisans who refused to accept Soviet-backed rule and were subsequently hunted, imprisoned, or killed by the security apparatus.

His remains were identified through DNA analysis in 2013, nearly six decades after his burial in an unmarked grave at Gdańsk's Srebrzysko cemetery.
