Obverse description The crowned White Eagle, national arms of the Polish People's Republic, displayed centrally in the field. The date is divided on either side of the eagle, with the denomination expressed as '10 ZŁ' appearing at the bottom of the field flanking the eagle's talons. The circular legend 'POLSKA RZECZPOSPOLITA LUDOWA' (Polish People's Republic) runs along the upper periphery in Latin characters, with the mint mark 'MW' incorporated into the design.
