Obverse description The Polish state emblem — a crowned white eagle with spread wings — occupies the upper central field, rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished background. Below the eagle, the denomination '10 ZŁ' is inscribed in bold numerals flanking the eagle's body. In the lower field, a stylized architectural motif consisting of two groups of diagonal railings or gate elements is depicted in relief on either side, referencing the industrial or civic setting of the 1976 protests. The date '2006' appears at the bottom of the field, with the mint mark 'mw' incorporated into the design. The circumscribed legend 'RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA' arcs along the upper border in Latin script.
