Obverse description The Polish state eagle — crowned, with wings displayed and talons prominent — occupies the central field, rendered in high relief against a stylised background depicting a globe and a partially visible football, evoking the World Cup theme. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs along the upper periphery in Latin script. The denomination 10 ZŁ is inscribed in the lower left field, with the date 2002 to its right, flanking the base of the eagle. The mint mark (MW) of the Mint of Poland appears as a small mark beneath the eagle.
