| Opmerkingen |
The 1982 series of Polish złoty notes was produced under martial law conditions — General Jaruzelski had declared stan wojenny in December 1981, and the economy was deteriorating rapidly, with shortages driving demand for small-denomination cash. The P#148 was printed in substantial numbers, but actual purchasing power at 10 złotych was negligible by this point; hyperinflationary pressure through the 1980s rendered the denomination increasingly symbolic.
PWPW in Warsaw has handled Polish security printing since the interwar period, manufacturing this series entirely domestically — a point of policy as much as logistics during the communist era.
