| Obverse description | The obverse features a stylized outline map of the portion of Upper Silesia returned to Poland in 1922, rendered with a contrasting mirror-polished field against the frosted relief of the territorial boundary. The city name KATOWICE is inscribed within the map area. To the right of the map, the Polish state eagle — the crowned White Eagle, emblem of the Republic — is depicted in high relief. The denomination 10 ZŁ appears to the left in bold numerals.
