Obverse description The obverse features a stylized outline map of the portion of Upper Silesia returned to Poland in 1922, rendered with a contrasting mirror-polished field against the frosted relief of the territorial boundary. The city name KATOWICE is inscribed within the map area. To the right of the map, the Polish state eagle — the crowned White Eagle, emblem of the Republic — is depicted in high relief. The denomination 10 ZŁ appears to the left in bold numerals. The circular legend RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA arcs across the upper field, with the date 2022 along the right side, and the mint mark MW and engraver's signature KOTOWICE appear in the lower exergual area.
