| Reverse description | The reverse features a finely detailed, naturalistically rendered Shiba Inu-type dog standing in profile facing right in the central field, its head raised in an alert, upward gaze. To the left of the dog, a second dog is depicted in lower relief as a background element, rendered with subtle shading to create depth. The Chinese cyclical characters 戊戌, denoting the Year of the Dog in the traditional sexagenary cycle, appear to the lower left in the field. The denomination 10元 is inscribed in the upper right portion of the field. The fan-shaped flan frames the entire composition within its curved and straight borders. |
