| Obverse description | Within a fan-shaped raised relief panel, a tall multi-tiered pagoda rises prominently on the left amid a hillside landscape of traditional pavilions, trees, and garden scenery rendered in fine detail. The Chinese inscription 虎丘塔 (Huqiu Pagoda) appears to the left within the panel, and the purity and weight designation '.999 Ag 1oz' is inscribed to the right. The national title 中华人民共和国 is engraved in large Chinese characters across the top of the rectangular field, with decorative corner ornaments at each corner. The date 1999 appears in the lower field beneath the fan-shaped vignette. |
