| Obverse description | Against a deeply contrasting mirror-polished field, the central design features an elaborate traditional Chinese decorative composition: an endless knot (盘长结), a classical auspicious symbol, surmounts a finely rendered peony blossom encircled by sinuous ruyi-headed scrollwork and stylised cloud tendrils. The legend 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) arcs along the upper periphery in raised simplified Chinese characters. The date 2026 appears in the lower field in Arabic numerals, all elements executed in frosted relief against the polished ground. |
