| 正面描述 | Central design features the Hall of Prayer for Good Harvests at the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, rendered in fine detail within the inner field. The circular legend in Chinese characters reads 'People's Republic of China' (中华人民共和国), flanked by the year of issue 2009 and the commemorative inscription marking the 30th Anniversary of China's Modern Precious Metal Commemorative Coins. The overall composition is framed by a polished border with a milled outer rim. |

The 2009 Chinese silver Panda series marked the program's 28th year of continuous issue — one of the longest-running annual bullion programs of any modern sovereign mint. China's Gold Coin Corporation, which oversees distribution, has consistently limited annual mintages on the 1-oz silver Panda, contributing to the series' secondary market premiums that routinely exceed those of comparable sovereign bullion coins from Perth or the Royal Mint.
KM#1891 corresponds to the Temple of Heaven reverse variant standard to this year's issue, with the obverse Panda design changed annually per program rules — a deliberate policy adopted in 1987 to distinguish the series from static-design bullion competitors.
