正面描述 The central vignette presents a pastoral scene of a shepherd tending a flock of sheep, executed in fine intaglio engraving characteristic of De La Rue's Republican-era output. The principal inscriptions read 行銀國中 (Bank of China) and 圓拾 (Ten Yuan), disposed around the central field and flanked by intricate guilloche borders. The overall composition adheres to the classical engraved banknote style prevalent among De La Rue-produced Chinese issues of the period.

备注

The Bank of China's 1934 series was printed by De La Rue during a period when the Nationalist government was actively consolidating China's fractured banking system. The Bank of China had been reorganized under direct government majority control in 1928, and by 1934 it functioned as the primary foreign exchange bank — a role that shaped which denominations were prioritized and how widely notes actually circulated.

Pick 73 is reasonably available in lower grades but becomes genuinely scarce above VF, largely due to the disruption caused by the Second Sino-Japanese War, which began in earnest three years after this note's issue date.
