| Reverse description | The reverse is dominated by a richly colored depiction of a traditional Chinese gate panel, rendered in gold coloring with a fine crosshatch ground, centered on the square perforation of the coin. Two imposing guardian lion-head door knockers (pushou), each clutching a ring in gilded relief, are symmetrically placed to the left and right of the aperture, symbolizing protection and good fortune. The entire composition is framed by swirling auspicious clouds (祥云) in white and gold applied color, evoking classical Chinese decorative iconography. The legend 瑞气盈门 (Auspicious Atmosphere Fills the Gate) is inscribed in Chinese characters along the upper rim. The denomination 10元 appears in the lower field. |
