| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse features a detailed architectural rendering of the Najiahu Mosque, a celebrated Islamic structure in the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, depicted in high relief with a grand arched entrance, ornate latticework, and flanking minarets. The facade of the mosque occupies the central field, with a receding pathway leading to the main portal, conveying a strong sense of perspective. The national inscription 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) is arranged in a curved legend along the upper periphery in Chinese characters. The date 2008 appears in the lower portion of the field beneath the architectural motif. The polished proof fields provide strong contrast against the frosted design elements. |
