正面描述	The right half of the obverse carries an intaglio-printed vignette of two male figures representing the Han and Mongol (Menggu) ethnic nationalities, rendered in fine line engraving against a light guilloche underprint. To the left, a red phoenix-and-floral ornamental vignette frames the large denomination characters 拾圓, with the national emblem of the People's Republic of China in the upper left corner. Denomination numerals appear in teal guilloche cartouches at the lower left and lower right, with the bank title 中国人民银行 inscribed across the top.
