Obverse description Vignette of Kuan Yu (the deified general of the Three Kingdoms period) at left, shown in traditional robes with a long beard, within a guilloche border. A rural landscape scene with rocky outcroppings occupies the right portion of the note. The large-character denomination 拾圓 appears in the centre, flanked by two red seal impressions, with the bank title in Chinese characters along the top margin and numeral 10 in each corner.

Reverse description Central oval medallion in deep red-purple guilloche containing the large numeral 10, surrounded by elaborate floral and foliate underprint ornaments in orange-red. Denomination 拾圓 appears in the upper corners at left and right within decorative cartouches. The bank title in Chinese characters runs along the upper border, and a printer's imprint appears along the lower margin.
