正面描述	Brown-toned note centred on a vignette of a multi-storey classical government building enclosed within an ornate guilloche frame. Large rosette panels to the left and right carry the vertical Chinese characters 拾圓 (Ten Yuan), while the bank name 湖南省銀行 runs vertically along the upper centre between serial number panels at the upper corners. Chinese inscriptions denoting denomination and currency type are arranged along the lower margin.

背面描述	Brown uniface reverse with the issuer name HUNAN PROVINCIAL BANK in Latin letters along the top border. The bold numeral 10 occupies the centre in intaglio style, flanked by two elaborate guilloche rosette panels each bearing the numeral 10; the legend NATIONAL CURRENCY arcs above HUNAN, and the date JANUARY 1ST, 1928 appears at the foot of the design.
