Beschrijving voorzijde	Printed in red-orange tones, the obverse carries a left-facing portrait vignette of Sun Yat-sen at centre-left, set against a fine guilloche underprint. The denomination 拾圓 (10 Yuan) appears in large Chinese numerals at centre, flanked by the issuer inscription 臺灣銀行 (Bank of Taiwan) below. The characters 馬祖 (Matsu) appear vertically on both sides, indicating this note's restricted circulation to the Matsu Islands region, with serial numbers printed in two positions along the lower margin.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The reverse, also rendered in red-orange intaglio, presents a central oval vignette of the Presidential Office Building in Taipei, framed by fine scroll-work borders. The denomination numerals 10 and 拾 appear in the lower-left and upper-right corners respectively, with 馬祖 inscribed vertically on both lateral margins. The Chinese Republic year inscription 中華民國五十六年 appears along the lower border.
