Obverse description Printed in red-orange tones, the obverse carries a left-facing portrait vignette of Sun Yat-sen at centre-left, set against a fine guilloche underprint. The denomination 拾圓 (10 Yuan) appears in large Chinese numerals at centre, flanked by the issuer inscription 臺灣銀行 (Bank of Taiwan) below. The characters 馬祖 (Matsu) appear vertically on both sides, indicating this note's restricted circulation to the Matsu Islands region, with serial numbers printed in two positions along the lower margin.
