| Reverse description | Plain field enclosed by a raised inner border and broad rim, bearing three stylized floral ornaments in relief arranged in a triangular composition: a single paulownia (kiri) mon positioned at the upper center, and two larger peony-like floral sprays with branching tendrils symmetrically placed at the lower left and lower right of the field. No inscriptions or legends appear on this face. The decorative motifs are rendered in fine detail, consistent with the Meiji-era trial die workmanship of the Japan Mint. |
