| 备注 |
The Bank of Chosen was Japan's colonial central bank for Korea, and this note sits at the very end of that institution's operational life. Issued in the final months of the Pacific War and into the immediate postwar period, these notes circulated under two entirely different political realities — first under Japanese colonial administration, then under the US Army Military Government in Korea after August 1945, which initially authorized continued use of existing Chosen Bank currency rather than introducing a new issue.
The bank itself was not dissolved until 1946, and its notes remained legal tender in the South until the new Bank of Korea was established in 1950.
