| Reverse description | The central design features two women in traditional Korean dress jointly holding aloft a map of the unified Korean peninsula, rendered in a stylised relief. Below the central motif, the dates and designations of three landmark inter-Korean agreements are inscribed in Hangul: the 7.4 Joint Statement (1972), the 6.15 Joint Declaration (2000), and the 10.4 Declaration (2007), serving as the thematic foundation of the coin's commemorative purpose. |

The Three Charters of National Reunification refers to a framework built from three declarations made by Kim Il-sung between 1972 and 1993 — the July 4th North-South Joint Statement, the Koryo Confederacy proposal, and the Ten-Point Programme of 1993 — which the DPRK has consistently promoted as the ideological basis for eventual reunification on its own terms. This coin was issued 24 years after the last of those declarations, under Kim Jong-un, as part of a broader commemorative program reinforcing dynastic continuity with his grandfather's political doctrine.
