| Opmerkingen |
The 1962 series marked South Korea's transition away from the Hwan back to the Won, redenominated at 10 Hwan to 1 Won following the military government's currency reform of June that year. De La Rue supplied printed sheets to Seoul during a period when domestic printing capacity was insufficient for a full currency changeover on short notice — the reform itself was announced and implemented within days, leaving little time for preparation.
Pick 32 is the lower-denomination workhorse of that reform series. Heavy circulation wear is the norm; survivors in anything above Fine are genuinely uncommon for this value.
