Reverse description The reverse commemorates the 95th anniversary of the 1,000-Mile Path of Liberation, a journey undertaken by Kim Il-sung in 1925. The legend naming the seven waypoints along the historic route — Popyong, Hwapyong, Kanggye, Huichon, Kaechon, Sinanju, and Pyongyang — is inscribed in Hangul across the central field. The dual Juche date range 'Juche 14 (1925) — Juche 109 (2020)' appears in the lower portion of the field, framing the commemorative inscription. The overall design is typographic in character, consistent with North Korean commemorative issues of this period.
