Reverse description A coconut crab (Birgus latro) depicted centrally in detailed relief, its large claws and distinctive body rendered naturalistically, flanked by coconut palm trees on either side. The coconut crab, the world's largest land-dwelling arthropod and a member of the hermit crab family, is native to the Indo-Pacific region including Vanuatu.
