| Reverse description | Central field bearing a four-line Persian poetic inscription in elegant Nasta'liq script, commemorating the jubilee celebration (Eid-e Zolgharnayn) of Naser al-Din Shah's reign. The date in the lunar Hijri calendar, Dhu al-Qi'dah 1313, appears in the lower portion of the inscription. The central text is encircled by an ornamental wreath of stylised floral and leaf motifs, with a further beaded inner border and a dashed outer border framing the entire reverse design. |
