Obverse description Central field occupied by a multi-line Arabic calligraphic legend in Nastaliq script, arranged in sweeping diagonal bands, reading the royal titulature and denomination. The inscription names Naser al-Din Shah Qajar with his full honorific titles — Sultan al-Azam and Khaqan al-Afkham — together with the mint name Tehran, the date 1311 AH, and the denomination Dah Toman (Ten Tomans). The legend is enclosed within a plain inner border and surrounded by an ornamental ring of alternating six-pointed stellar rosettes and pellets. The outer rim is defined by a bold dentilated border.
