| Beschrijving voorzijde | Facing bust portrait of Nāṣer al-Dīn Shāh Qājār occupying the central field, depicted in military uniform adorned with decorative epaulettes, a bandolier, and ornamental studs across the chest. The Shah wears his characteristic tall cylindrical Qajar crown surmounted by an elaborate jewelled aigrette with a prominent feather plume. A prominent curled mustache defines his facial features. The portrait is rendered in fine relief in a naturalistic European-influenced engraving style, set against a smooth field, with a beaded border encircling the entire obverse. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The central field bears a bold multi-line Persian inscription in Nasta'liq script conveying the royal titles and name of the Shah, reading 'السّلطان الاعظم و الخاقان الافخم ناصرالدین شاه قاجار', with the AH date ۱۳۱۱ and denomination ده تومان (Ten Toman) incorporated within the legend. The inscription is enclosed by an inner beaded border, outside which a decorative ring of alternating six-pointed rosettes and pellets forms an ornamental band. The mint name طهران (Tehran) appears at the top between the two borders, and the entire design is framed by an outer beaded border. |
