Reverse description The central field bears a bold multi-line Persian inscription in Nasta'liq script conveying the royal titles and name of the Shah, reading 'السّلطان الاعظم و الخاقان الافخم ناصرالدین شاه قاجار', with the AH date ۱۳۱۱ and denomination ده تومان (Ten Toman) incorporated within the legend. The inscription is enclosed by an inner beaded border, outside which a decorative ring of alternating six-pointed rosettes and pellets forms an ornamental band. The mint name طهران (Tehran) appears at the top between the two borders, and the entire design is framed by an outer beaded border.
