| Reverse description | A Mongolian horseman in traditional dress gallops vigorously to the left, rendered in high relief against a deeply recessed, mirror-polished field. The rider's cloak streams behind him, and the horse is shown at full gallop over rocky ground. The legend * MONGOLIA * arcs along the upper rim in Latin characters, flanked by small floral ornaments. The denomination 10 ТӨГРӨГ is inscribed in the lower field in Cyrillic characters. The border consists of a continuous series of inward-pointing triangular serrations, giving the rim a sunburst or sawtooth decorative effect. |
