The shield is encircled by a wreath of cotton bolls and wheat ears, bound at the base by a tricolor ribbon in the national colors. Twelve five-pointed stars arranged in an arc along the upper border of the design represent the twelve provinces of Uzbekistan. The Cyrillic legend ЎЗБЕКИСТОН РЕСПУБЛИКАСИ (Republic of Uzbekistan) is inscribed in two lines along the upper periphery of the coin. |
