| Obverse description | Three-quarter-length armored effigy of Christian, Bishop of Minden, facing three-quarters to the right, depicted in elaborate full plate armor with a prominent lace ruff collar and a commander's baton or sword visible at his side. A plumed helmet rests on a table to the right of the figure. The portrait is rendered in high relief with exceptional detail characteristic of early 17th-century German Löser coinage. A beaded inner circle frames the effigy, with the Latin legend encircling the entire design within a decorative outer border. |
