Obverse description The obverse is printed in brown on cream paper within an ornate guilloche border. At centre, Burmese script inscriptions occupy the upper and lower portions, with the numeral '10' in the lower left corner and a serial number in red at upper left and lower right. To the left, a wreath enclosing crossed swords with a star is rendered as a vignette; to the right, the Government of the Union of Burma coat of arms — a globe flanked by two tigers surmounted by a cogwheel and star — appears within a circular cartouche.
