| Obverse description | The national coat of arms of Bangladesh occupies the central field, depicting a water lily (shapla) above stylised waves, flanked by two sheaves of rice and surmounted by three connected jute leaves with four stars arranged in an arc. The arms are encircled by a wreath of rice stalks. A Bengali legend curves along the upper periphery commemorating the Silver Jubilee of Bangladesh Bank (1971–1996), with the date range at the sides. The denomination, दश १० टाका (TEN 10 TAKA), appears in the lower field in Bengali numerals and script. |
