Popis líce	At left, the national emblem of Bangladesh — a water lily flanked by rice sheaves, surmounted by three connected jute leaves and four stars — is printed in intaglio. The central vignette presents the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in Dhaka, rendered in fine line engraving. At right, the Oriental magpie-robin, Bangladesh's national bird, appears alongside water lily blossoms, the national flower.

The central vignette presents the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban — the National Parliament House at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka — designed by architect Louis Kahn, with its distinctive geometric concrete forms illustrated in fine engraving.
