| 备注 |
Bangladesh Bank's earliest note issues came under extraordinary pressure — the new central bank was formally established in 1972, less than a year after liberation, and the first series had to be contracted abroad while domestic infrastructure barely existed. Bradbury Wilkinson, then still operating out of New Malden, had long experience printing currency for newly independent Commonwealth nations, and Bangladesh was a natural client.
The P#14 carries the signatures of both A. N. Hamidullah and Naziruddin Ahamed, a pairing that places it firmly within the transitional first administration of the bank, before subsequent signature combinations altered the series. Designer credit to K. G. Mustafa is notable — local artistic involvement in a note printed entirely overseas was not guaranteed at this stage.
