Beschrijving voorzijde	The national coat of arms of Ecuador is depicted centrally, featuring a condor with outstretched wings perched atop an oval shield. The shield displays Mount Chimborazo with a river in the foreground and a steamship, surmounted by a radiant sun above the Aries constellation. The circular legend REPUBLICA DEL ECUADOR arcs along the upper periphery, with the date 1991 appearing in the lower exergue.

Beschrijving keerzijde	The denomination numeral 10 is displayed prominently in large raised figures occupying the right-center of the field, with the word SUCRES inscribed below in bold lettering. To the left, a stylized square cartouche depicts the Venus de Valdivia, a pre-Columbian figurine rendered in relief, with the legend VENUS DE VALDIVIA inscribed beneath it in small Latin characters. Two Braille dots appear at the lower center of the field to aid visually impaired users in denomination identification.
