Beschrijving voorzijde	The national coat of arms of Ecuador occupies the central field, depicting Mount Chimborazo above a steamship on a river, surmounted by a radiant sun, flanked by fasces and Ecuadorian and Roman flags, and topped by a condor with outstretched wings. The circular legend REPUBLICA DEL ECUADOR arcs around the upper periphery in Latin script. The date 1988 appears in the lower exergue beneath the shield.
