Obverse description	Central intaglio vignette of Sebastian de Benalcazar in armour within an oval frame, flanked by large guilloche numeral 10 medallions on either side. The bank title BANCO CENTRAL DEL ECUADOR arches across the top, with SOCIEDAD ANONIMA below, while the place and date of issue appear at lower centre. Two signature lines run along the lower portion above the denomination legend DIEZ SUCRES, with series and serial number designations in the upper corners.
