Obverse description Central shield bearing the rampant lion of Utrecht, armed with a sword, surmounted by an elaborate crown with floral ornaments. The denomination numerals X and St. flank the shield to left and right respectively, serving as the value indication within the design. A circular Latin legend surrounds the shield, with the date divided at the top of the coin above the crown. The design is executed in high relief with fine detail on the lion's mane and the crown's decorative elements.
