Reverse description Central field displays two mongooses facing a banner of victory, the device symbolizing triumph over disharmony, with Tibetan script legend appearing above the central motif. The denomination and regnal cycle date are incorporated within the inscription. The entire design is framed within the petals of an eight-petalled lotus border, with additional Tibetan characters arranged around the circumference. The reverse inscription records the sixteenth Rabjung cycle, year 22 or 23, and the denomination of 10 Srang. The composition follows the same formal Tibetan decorative convention as the obverse.
