| Obverse description | Central field features the Triratna (Triple Gem) symbol enclosed within a square cartouche bearing Tibetan script inscriptions on all sides. The square is set within an elaborate ornamental border of intricate floral and geometric design. Additional Tibetan characters appear above and below the central device, arranged in registers near the rim. The overall composition is rendered in a formal, symmetrical style consistent with Tibetan Buddhist iconographic tradition. |

The central device is enclosed within a ring of the Eight Auspicious Symbols of Tibetan Buddhism — comprising a white parasol, conch shell, treasure vase, victory banner, dharma wheel, pair of golden fish, endless knot, and lotus flower — each set within the petals of a stylised eight-petalled lotus forming the outer border. The composition is symmetrically arranged and executed in a refined repoussé-influenced die style characteristic of early twentieth-century Tibetan coinage patterns. |
