The central field shows a flattened, indistinct crowned shield or pillars-and-waves device typical of Spanish colonial coinage, rendered nearly illegible. Fragmentary peripheral legends from the host coin are partially visible around the rim, consistent with standard Spanish colonial inscriptions, though heavily degraded. |
